WordPress is an open-source content management system (CMS) widely used for creating and maintaining websites and blogs. Since its launch in 2003 by Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little, it has evolved into a robust CMS capable of managing sites of all sizes and complexities.
I have been using WordPress for over 10 years, during which I set up two e-commerce stores using WordPress + WooCommerce and, at least, 3 personal blogs, as well as a few to support my Physics classes at the University of Vila Velha.
In this journey, something I found myself frequently needing was the use of dozens of plugins for various activities. However, at this new juncture in my life, I decided to create my own plugins. Nothing too elaborate, just what’s necessary for performing some small tasks on my blog.
The plugins are available for download on my GitHub under the username rudsonalves, licensed under GPL2. Feel free to download, use, and modify them.
